1/72 British Regiment (Blue color)

Hello everyone¡ I hope you to be enjoying this hot summer¡

This time, I would like to show you the last two units I´ve painted. Both with blue as color regiment.

In these units, my intention has been to give them a more dynamic atmosphere; I´ve tried to represent the regiments charging. For this porpoise, I have used the some running o advancing poses from the Accurate-Revell-Imex sets.  (For seeing the sets, you can see the entry http://modellingawi.blogspot.com/2019/04/making-regiment.html )

This color was used by some of the most renowned infantry units the British side, according to the Balck Powder supplement for the American war of Independence, “Rebellion”; Brigade of Guards, 4th “king Owns”, 7th “royal fusiliers”, 8th “King´s”,18Th “Royal Irish, 21 st “Royal North British Fusilers”, 23rd “Royal Welch Fusilers”, 42 nd  “Royal Higland”, 60th “royal American”,84th,.

One fall is that I have used the musician of the set directly, and it seems very static; I should have changed his leg, adding another from a running pose, perhaps I´ll do it later… Ah the regiments with the blue color were the unique that had their musicians with the same color as the rest of the components ( red coats with blue facings, not with the color exchanged, as with the rest of the regiments)

I have continued with the same painting style, with a strong wash; I think I´ll try another painting style in future, but I should finish all units of this period with the same style.

This is the first one, charging;

And this is the second one; I have included more poses.

Thank you, for visiting; I´m working in more units...i hope to finish and share them very soon¡

Antonio.
